Wow, it’s been over a week, but it was a pleasure to attend the WABA conference in Perth. The atmosphere was great and well-attended. It’s a pleasure to be associated with the Brewing & distilling industry and the Independent Brewing community, especially when the times are tough.
Of course, the “tasters” during the day were excellent too.
The Indie Awards (Independent Brewing Association) did round up the day (ignore the stereo…:D). We would like to congratulate every medal winner and the Category Champions.
A special shout to Stuart Taylor of Homestead Brewery, who not only won a Gold but also was voted best in Class for his European–style Ale, St. Isidore Saison Draught.
It is excellent to see that some of the smallest breweries create such a high standard by volume. It shows that quality is in the detail….super cool
We had a fresh one from the tap taste of it on Saturday. It’s a great beer; no wonder the judges were impressed.
